TASK TEN: 30 Cut Chorus

LEARNING COMMENT:
This task gave us experience in using a variety of different cuts to make a successful music video. We used a lot of cuts which increased the pace of the video which fitted in well with the beat of the song. We also began to edit our cuts so they changed on the beat. This editing was fairly simple to do but we had to take into consideration how well the shots flowed together whist simultaneously fitting them with the beat which took a while. The slow motion shot we did fits well with the song and makes it more interesting for the viewer to watch. to improve our cuts could be more continuous as the camera jumps around the setting quite a lot which makes the video seem disjointed. Also having a wider variety of shots during the first half of the music video as it is mainly the same shots but just moving around. A variety of different angled shots may have made it better and we will remember this for the next filming task we do. Also to improve we could have used more people in our video so the focus wasn't just on the same girl, this could make it more interesting having more interaction in video.
